Sub-Regional Bible Studies on
Ruho.org:
Blueprints are being made about starting consistent
bible studies within this region. One area will cover the Long
Island/New Jersey/Staten Island churches and the other Rockland/White
Plains churches. Please express your interests and willingness to
attend with your youth leaders & Ruho contact.
Patriarchal Day
Celebration: Philadelphia
The annual Patriarchal Day
celebration was hosted this year by St. Paul's Church, Pennsylvania on
February 18th. We were blessed to have the presence of H.B.
Baselious Thomas I and two other bishops from India (Mor Ivanios & Mor
Severios). After Holy Qurbono, a general meeting was held in
which the attending public swore their allegiance to our beloved
Patriarch in Antioch. The newly formed diocesan choir helped in
the celebrations. Our spiritual leader, Mor Titus, celebrated
his second year as bishop, and we also commemorated the blessed memory
of St. Ignatius Elias III.
 
Planning Meeting held on
the 19th:
With the leadership of Dn.
Jerry & Jakey, a planning meeting was held at the bishop's house to
discuss future ideas for the region. Concerns were discussed and
plans were formulated for the coming months. Our bishop, Mor
Titus, also provided valuable inputs. We hope to conduct the
Lenten Retreat in April at Baltimore. The date will be announced
soon. A special thanks for all those who attended.
St. George's Carteret Youth
Activity:
Saturday, February 25th,
we will be making and serving dinner at Ronald McDonald house in New
